In July 2023 Tony Erickson and Jr Herndon purchased Elk River Custom Meats just 5 short months after the passing of the previous owner Dan Bubenheim.
The facility is located on the west side of Steamboat Springs, CO at 2464 Downhill Drive Suite 12. Elk River Custom Meats continues to offer Wild Game Processing with new vacuum sealed packaging and specialty meat recipes.
Expanding the previous business model Elk River Custom Meats is also offering retail local beef & pork available for purchase with a fresh display case located in the front office. We offer a range of beef cuts from Rib Eye, Pork Chops, Bacon New York Strips, Tenderloin Filets, T-Bones, Ground Beef and much more!
